### test

Date Tested: June 2011
Estimated price at R129 from Pick n Pay

Pros: This was the lightest plunger on test and was a fairly good size. Its performance was satisfactory in our tests.

Cons: This plunger was not as effective as some of the others on test. We found it didn’t retain the finer coffee granules, allowing bits through, but worked better with coarser textures. The beaker couldn’t be taken out of its casing and the space between the handle and the beaker was slightly narrow – especially for those who have larger fingers. The micromesh filter caused splattering along the sides when we pressed the shaft down. We had to check that the filter on the lid was aligned before pouring.
