Pros: This plunger was a good size and weight. The beaker was not a tight fit with the casing and could be removed easily, but it was sufficiently secure that it didn’t slip out when tilted to pour. Its performance was average in our tests.

Cons: The filter was a very loose fit making it too easy to lift and press down the shaft. We found that it retained most of the granules well but there were a few bits that still got through. The micromesh filter caused splattering along the sides when the shaft was pressed down with too much pressure. We had to check that the filter on the lid was aligned before pouring.
