Did you know that any appliance installation that requires gas must have a Certificate of Conformity that is issued by a person registered with the Liquified Petroleum Gas Safety Association of Southern Africa? This is according to regulations introduced in 2009.
The onus is on the homeowner to get such a certificate and it is essential for a valid insurance policy. Should you not have such one, your insurance company could reject a claim.
